Puis j'ai réalisé que la seule chose que j'avais gardée de mon ex petit ami, c'était le parapluie qu'il m'avait donné. Pourquoi ? Et si, sous son apparence anodine, cet objet contribuait à améliorer nos vies ? Et s'il était doté de pouvoirs ? Allons plus loin, et s'il était investi de missions ? De là est née l'idée d'un recueil de nouvelles liées par ce parapluie qui déambule d'un personnage à l'autre, témoin d'un moment clé de leur existence.
Sous son oeil bienveillant, ils souffrent, s'aiment, vivent, et parfois meurent. Le recueil se découpe en 8 nouvelles, chacune dans un style narratif différent. Elles prêtent à sourire, à réfléchir, à s'émouvoir. J'ai pensé ce melting-pot littéraire comme une invitation à profiter pleinement du temps qui nous est offert.À PROPOS DE L'AUTRICE? Marlene Duchamp écrit depuis l'enfance, inventant et illustrant des histoires dès le CP.
À 10 ans, elle rédige son premier roman sur une machine à écrire, puis tient un journal intime à 13 ans. Au lycée, elle rêve d'écrire avec sa meilleure amie, mais la vie la détourne de l'écriture. Des années plus tard, une idée la pousse à reprendre la plume. Après dix ans de travail, son roman "Le parapluie" voit enfin le jour, touchant profondément ses proches.
