Okay real talk — I spent my first TWO WEEKS in Attack on Titan Revolution completely broke.
Like, zero gems, zero spins, stuck with the Braus family (sorry Sasha stans, I love potatoes but I wanted to actually fly) and the default cape. I was out here looking like a background character from episode 1. It was humiliating.
So I did what any sane person would do at 2am on a Tuesday: I made a spreadsheet. I'm not proud of it. But now I'm Prestige 3 with an Ackerman, a Yeager, full black drip, and I’ve rolled so many times my R key is starting to fade. Here’s literally everything I’ve learned about getting gems and spins without spending a single Robux.
This is for rolling Families and Memories. My luck is objectively cursed — it took me 87 spins to get Ackerman. Eighty-seven. My friend Jay got it on his third spin while eating cereal. I still haven't forgiven him.
1. CODES. ALWAYS THE CODES FIRST.
This is 80% of my spins, no joke. The devs drop new codes almost every update, weekend, or when the Discord hits a like goal.
I literally just check the AOTR Discord (#codes channel) every time I log on. Redeem them in the Menu > Codes. Don't wait because they expire fast.
Pro tip from my pain: copy-paste them. I typed "LIKESOON" as "LIKEZOON" three times and thought the code was fake. I'm an idiot.
2. Your Daily Login Streak is your best friend.
Log in every day even if you’re not gonna play. Like, I open the game on my phone while I’m brushing my teeth.
Day 1-3 is usually meh gems, but Day 5, 6, 7?? That's where they hide the spins. I think Day 7 is 3 Family Spins + 3 Memory Spins right now. Miss a day and it resets and I WILL cry for you.
3. Do your 3 Daily Missions. PLEASE.
Takes like 15 minutes. They’re usually "Kill 50 titans," "Complete 2 missions," "Get an A-Rank." You get like 100+ gems and 1-2 spins total per day. It adds up SO fast.
I used to ignore these and just grind raids. Dumbest decision ever.
4. LEVEL UP. Just play the game.
Every 5 levels you get a free spin bundle (I think it's 1 of each?). After Prestige 1, it feels like you get them even faster. I went from level 50-75 just spamming Aberrant missions with a good squad and I got like 8 spins just from leveling.
5. THE AFK CHAMBER IS BROKEN (for lazy people like me)
Okay so — if you go to the main lobby and go into the AFK Chamber, you just... stand there. You get rewards every 15 minutes.
Last time I checked it was like 60 gems and 1 spin every hour. I literally leave my PC on while I’m doing homework or watching AoT for the 5th time. My mom yelled at me for the electricity bill once. Worth it. Just move your character every 20 minutes so you don’t get kicked.
6. Aberrant Mode Missions
If you can handle the sweat, run missions on ABERRANT difficulty with at least an A-rank. A S-rank Aberrant run gives you a spin sometimes, plus a ton of gems. I do this with my duo because solo Aberrant will make you want to uninstall.
Gems are for crates, skins, emotes, horses, and swords. I am a cosmetic goblin so this is important to me.
1. All the stuff above ALSO gives gems.
Codes, dailies, AFK, leveling — it all gives gems too. That's why you do it.
2. GRIND RAIDS. ESPECIALLY WALL MARIA.
A good S+ raid clear will drop like 150-250 gems. It's insane. I made 1,200 gems in one night just grinding raids with my Discord server on Saturday. Bring ODM gas refills, trust me.
3. Achievements are a one-time gold mine.
Go to your Menu > Achievements. I ignored this for a month and when I finally clicked it I had like 2,000 unclaimed gems. "Kill 1,000 titans" "Reach level 100" "Open 50 crates" — just claim them. Free money.
4. Sell your duplicate trash.
When you open skin crates with gems and get a duplicate (which is like, always), it auto-converts to 10-15 gems. It's not a lot but it refund-loops you into another crate. I call it the gambling cycle.
5. Ranked PvP if you're toxic
I hate PvP, I'm terrible at it. But winning matches gives you like 30 gems per win. If you’re actually good at blade fighting, you can farm way faster than me.
NEVER spin when you're tilted. I wasted 200 spins at 3am because I was mad I didn't get Reiss. Got 17 Braus in a row. Log off.
WAIT for 2x Luck events. The devs do them every major update. Save like 50+ spins and then go ham. That's how I finally got Yeager.
Don't buy the cheap crates. Save for the 250-gem featured banner. The 75-gem ones are a scam and just give you the default horse in a different shade of brown. I have 4 of them. I named one "Toast."
Honestly, AOTR is super generous compared to other anime Roblox games IF you just do the dailies and AFK. I went from 0 to 15k gems in about three weeks just by being consistent and not spending them on stupid emotes immediately... okay maybe one stupid emote.
If you see a dude in the lobby with a full black Ackerman fit on a horse named "Nacho," that's probably me. Say hi.
What family are you guys grinding for right now? And please tell me your spin horror stories so I feel better about my 87 Ackerman rolls.
