Young people, particularly teens, make up a large portion of Instagram\u2019s user base. The parent firm, Facebook, spent $1 billion on Instagram. It has evolved into a lucrative source of revenue for artists and a valuable sales channel for corporations.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instagram<\/a> was the most downloaded viral short video social media app in India\u2019s App Store and Google Play from January to June this year. As per data shared by Sensor Tower with ET, <\/a>Instagram<\/a> clocked 118,700,000<\/strong> downloads while Facebook clocked 86,600,000<\/strong> downloads during the same period. India is leading the pack with a majority of Instagram users residing in the country. 201.1 million<\/strong> Instagram users are in India, to be exact. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
