En ésta una novela sobre la Gracia, que se impone al estupor y el rechazo del protagonista y que convierte su miseria y su incapacidad en camino para una salvacion que es de otro mundo. Y es una novela sobre la Iglesia, cuyo rostro resplandece a la luz de la Gracia.
