I am the type of person who sees a special player pack and immediately does the "I only need a few more coins" math in my head
then remembers that "just a few more" can be a lot of matches, events, and overcoming the urge to spend coins on every flashing banner that appears.
My virtual wallet has seen some things, and I know I am not alone in this situation. That is why, if you are looking to earn your eFootball 2027 Coins without crying into your controller, I am going to share the habits I use to do this. The exact events and rewards you see might change with each update, but there are some practices I always follow to get them.
1. Log In to the Game Every Day, Even if You Don't Have Time to Play a Match
It sounds simple, but daily login campaigns are an excellent way to slowly build your Coin balance over time
Some days I barely have time to squeeze in a match, so I'll open the game up while my coffee brews, claim my login reward, and be on my way. It's a matter of consistency and the rewards you can get from simply logging in. A daily reward might seem minuscule, but if you go a week without logging in due to a busy schedule, you might miss out on a campaign or two that give significantly more.
My personal rule of thumb is that if I am too tired to play, I will still log in and be glad I did when I see what I would have missed.
2. Check the Inbox Often!
I can not tell you how many times I have opened my inbox only to find a reward I totally forgot I was supposed to claim!
You might find campaign gifts, maintenance compensation, event completion rewards, or anniversary gifts. Some of these will almost certainly be in the form of in-game money, but others may provide GP, training items, and contracts. Those other items are important too since the more resources you have, the less likely you are to waste your Coins on things you could get elsewhere.
Let's be honest, a small part of me still blames my inbox for making me feel guilty about spending those hard-earned Coins on a player pack when I already have a ton of unclaimed items sitting there.
3. Prioritize the Limited-Time Events Whenever Possible
Anytime there is a timer next to an event, I know to prioritize it
Permanent mode events will always be there, but limited-time events often have the best rewards for a short while, and they're made to be achievable by casual players without hundreds of extra matches.
When I log into the game, the first things I look at are
Do I have a limited-time event?
Does it reward Coins directly?
Are there additional rewards for milestones like matches played, scoring, and so on?
And if I can complete it before the deadline, will it be worth my time?
I usually decide where to spend my playing time based on these factors.
4. Complete Objectives Instead of Having Random Matches
I love having random matches against online opponents, and if I am just fooling around, I might try out a weird formation at 1 a.m. But when I want to save my Coins, I will set aside time to complete any objectives.
Sometimes objectives will ask you to play a certain number of matches in a particular mode or score a certain number of goals
It may not give you Coins outright, but by completing these tasks, you can get event-specific rewards or the resources to buy what you need without spending your hard-earned Coins. When I can, I try to "stack" objectives on top of each other. For example, if one challenge asked me to score online, while another asked to score with certain types of players, I would build a team that would let me complete both challenges. Sometimes it's nice to accomplish multiple objectives by completing a single match.
5. Don't Spend Your Coins Just Because a New Pack Has Been Released
My number one piece of advice is not to spend your Coins just because a new player pack has been released.
New player packs are always flashy with beautiful images and crazy stats, and it's easy to talk yourself into spending a bunch of your hard-earned money on a player you know nothing about because their card looked cool. It usually doesn't work out before long.
Before spending your Coins on a pack, ask yourself:
Will this player fit into my team?
Will the player replace someone I already use?
And are you okay with potentially wasting your money?
That last one may be the most essential because if a draw system includes randomness, never assume that you will get the player you want if the game does not say so explicitly.
I've had times where I got excited about one player, only to get a ton of cards I could barely use, and stare forlornly at my squad, wondering if I should replace some of my right wingers. Now I save up my Coins for players that I actually want or packs that have a guaranteed value for my playstyle.
6. Use Your GP and Other Free Resources As Much As Possible
I treat Coins as a premium currency that I only spend on what I need or want because they can take a while to earn. If I can use my GP, earned contracts, free spins or events, and normal player signings, I'll save my Coins for later. One of my favorite players in the game used to be in an older squad I bought. I barely used him at first because he seemed like a basic defender, but he ended up making a ton of last-minute saves and scored two headers from corners! He became a club legend, and I never had to spend a single Coin on him because I bought him with resources from a match I played.
My main piece of advice is to have fun and play the game you enjoy! Yes, it's good to save your Coins and only spend them on the players you want, but do not forget to enjoy the ridiculous goals, awful refereeing, and last-minute victories! Have fun playing the game that brought you so much enjoyment during those long evenings. Save your Coins wisely, and may your next draw always give you the player you wanted!
