Yo, what’s good everyone? It’s your boy here, the dude who’s been obsessed with MLB 9 Innings 26 since the day it dropped. I’m talking 3–4 hours a day, naming my players after my fantasy league homies, and yelling at my phone when I lose a one-run game in the 9th. Yeah… I’m that guy.
If you’re struggling to stack Stars and Points like the rest of us degenerates, I got you. I’ve tested pretty much every method out there, wasted a stupid amount of time, and finally figured out what actually works. This is my no-BS, complete guide to farming Stars and Points in 2025.
First Off – Why Stars & Points Actually Matter
Let me be real with you. Early on I thought “eh, I’ll just play the game and see what happens.” Big mistake. Once I started actually caring about Stars, my team went from mid to scary good in like two weeks. Stars = good players from the special shop, Points = training, level-ups, and card packs. Simple as that.
My Daily Routine (The Real Money Printer)
This is the part where I make the most progress with almost zero effort.
Every single day I do this exact order:
Login Bonus + Attendance Check – Never skip this. They give you free Stars every 7 days.
Daily Missions – These are stupid easy. Usually 3-4 Stars just for playing 3 ranked games and hitting a few home runs.
Weekly Missions – These are where the real juice is. I always try to finish the “Play 50 innings” one early.
Watch the Free Ads – I know, I know… but 5 ads = 1 free Star. I do them while I’m eating breakfast. Takes 3 minutes.
Pro tip: If you’re lazy like me, do the daily missions in Quick Match mode. Way faster and you still get full credit.
The Event Grind – Where I Made My Biggest Comeback
Last month during the “Signature Day” event, I was sitting on like 180 Stars and feeling broke. Then I went full try-hard mode and ended up with over 650 Stars in 10 days. Here’s what I did:
Played every single Grand Prix match I could
Focused on Club Tour (the team one) because the rewards are cracked right now
Did the Special Training event every time it popped up
Real talk: I once pulled a 72 OVR Signature from the shop after grinding one of these events. I actually screamed in my apartment at 1 a.m. My neighbors probably hate me.
Best Ways to Farm Points (The Sleeper Method)
Most people sleep on this, but Points are actually easier to farm than Stars:
Live Matches are still king for Points
Rookie League + Challenger League give insane Point rewards for winning streaks
Training Card Conversion – I convert all my bronze/silver cards into Points when I’m low
My favorite trick? When I’m feeling lazy, I just run Auto-Battle in the lower leagues while I’m watching baseball on TV. Free Points while I watch the real MLB. Life is good.
My Personal “I Almost Quit” Story
Okay, I have to tell you this because it’s hilarious now.
About a month ago I went on a brutal 14-game losing streak in ranked. I was tilted out of my mind, down to 40 Stars, and ready to uninstall. Then I remembered something an old veteran told me in the Discord: “When you’re losing, go back to basics.”
So I dropped down to Rookie League, turned off auto, and just focused on good pitching and small ball. Won 9 straight. Got my confidence back, climbed back to Master II, and pulled a 74 OVR Aaron Judge in the next pack.
Moral of the story? Sometimes you gotta swallow your pride and go farm the lower ranks for a bit. It works.
Quick Fire Tips From a Certified Degenerate
Always save your Mileage Tickets for the big 1000-mile shop openings
Join an active Club – the club shop Stars are actually really good now
Don’t blow all your Stars on random packs. Be patient.
The Lucky Box event is cracked when it shows up — I got 120 Stars from one once
Look, MLB 9 Innings 26 can be frustrating as hell sometimes, but when you start stacking Stars and actually building that god squad, there’s nothing like it. I went from getting swept in ranked to being the one doing the sweeping, all because I finally got smart about farming.
If you use even half the stuff I talked about, you’re gonna be sitting pretty in no time.
Now go get those Stars, king. And if you pull something nasty, drop it in the comments — I live for that stuff.
Catch you in the next one!
