Once again, Pietro weaves together a beautiful world with vivid descriptions, including brand-new animals and creatures, the likes of which I could never have dreamed up myself. Pietro masterfully wields her pen to take readers on an intense journey through the world she created, into the darkness of fear and death, and out into the light of hope. I will absolutely be picking up book 3 as soon as it comes out!This is an engaging read that pulls you into its gritty, well-crafted world.
The intense action and vivid setting are definite highlights, and the plot twists keep you on your toes. I have nothing but positives. This authors world building and character building is perfection! I am growing to truly love and admire this authors work. The Great King and Seer is an epic fantasy series that captures the imagination and captivates the reader. The world building and character development in last year's Seeking Elvyra was magnificent.
In Ashgate Fortress, the author has surpassed herself and created even more locations, given depth to her main characters, and added a few more fan favorites. This fantastic series is so intricate and varied that it reminds me of Lord of the rings. I hope that the books gain the following that they deserve. The world is so rich that I could envision this becoming a blockbuster movie.
