The Link feature on Instagram comes with its own limitations. Instagram limits users to only one link in their bio, which can be an inefficiency for content creators, and to anyone who might want their visitors to check-out more than one link. The only solution being updating your bio from time to time to share a new link. This blog will further inform on how can one create their own Linktree.

Linktree is a tool that acts as a mediator in sharing all your social media links with your followers. This feature helps the users in  sharing their work efficiently. URLs like- Links to foundations/organisations you’d like your followers to donate to, and whatever else you want people to access and check, all through a single link in your Instagram bio. 

It’s also an optimal way for one to share all your other social media accounts with their followers on Instagram. For example, you can feature your Twitter, Facebook, behance and Blogger all on your Linktree.

Here are the easy steps to follow to create the Linktree-

  • Go to linktr.ee to create your Linktree account.
  • Select “Get Started for Free” 
  • Enter your information and click “Sign up with email” to create your account.
  • Set-up your account. 
  • Copy the link to your Linktree.
  • Open Instagram.

Here are the steps to follow to add the links-

  • Select the “Links” tab to add links to your account. There, add a title and the URL for your link and it will appear on your profile. 
  • In order to add an additional link select “Add new link.”
  • To edit your Linktree profile select “Appearance.” There you can add a profile picture and edit the theme of your Linktree.
  • To link your other social media accounts to your Linktree go to “Settings” and scroll down to “Social Links.” There you can enter your other social media accounts.

While editing your Linktree, a preview will be visible on the right side of your screen.
